What is Conquest?
Conquest is essentially a weekly set of objectives that you can do to earn Conquest Points. If you hit 20,000 Conquest points before the week is up, you get a nice reward package. On top of that, a guild may "invade" certain planets involved in the week's Conquest event. Doing so gives bonuses to some of the Conquest objectives. Guild who rank in the top 10 on the leaderboard for the planet they're invading will qualify for an additional reward package.
In order to get the guild bonus, you will have to hit your personal 20,000 goal too!
What are the rewards?
If you hit your 20,000 point personal goal, you'll immediately receive the Conquest reward package. This typically includes a Resource Decoration box with three harvestable decorations, a 25k credit token and a Strategic Resource Matrix (a rare crafting material that can sell for a lot on the GTN).
The guild reward typically includes a 50k credit token, pluse a Fleet Encryption which as a guild we need to collect to unlock additional rooms on our flagship.
How can I help?
Check out the Conquest Objectives for the week to determine which ones you can hit for the most points before the week is done. To find the Conquest Objectives, go to your Mission Log and click the Conquest tab.
In the left you'll see several boxes. Click them to see more details about the objective. A star (x) underneath the box means that the particular objective can only be completed once for your legacy. So pick the right toon to do it on. An infinity symbol means that it is repeatable across all your toons, and the same toon can do it multiple times too.
If you have questions about strategy, hit up guild chat and ask. We will usually have group runs for certain objectives so that many guild members can get points all at once.
Stronghold Bonus
You get a nice bonus to your Conquest points based on the number of decorations you have across your strongholds. This bonus is legacy wide. Each Stronghold can contribute up to 25% toward the bonus. So if you have four strongholds (the current maximum possible) fully decorated, you'll double your Conquest points for each objective you complete.
Therefore in order to help you and the guild score high in Conquest, make sure you have placed several decorations in your Strongholds. Many cheap decorations can be purchased from the decoration vendor on fleet. It doesn't matter which decorations you place for the bonus. Each one counts the same. So you can put down 50 cheap chairs and tables, and you'll get credit for each one.
Expand your stronghold to increase your decoration limit.
